dexter-logoImage by hplusk via Flickr
Last week's episode ended with Dexter killing Boyd and getting caught by Boyd's next victim a young woman (Julia Stiles) he was holding capture.
Now Dexter has to decide what to do with her either kill her or set her free? Harry appears and he's not to happy about the fact that Dexter broke the first rule of the code "Don't get caught." Even though Harry tells him to kill her Dexter chooses the latter and lets her live while cleaning her wounds she wakes up, terrified of what he will do to her she tries to escape which leaves Dexter with no choice but to sedate her. Dexter receives a call from Deb who has been at a crime scene all night Dexter soon realizes that Sonya the nanny has been with Harrison the entire time. Deb asks him to come and help her at the crime scene that maybe link to the Santa Muerte case, realizing that he can used this situation to find out who the mysterious woman is he agrees to help. Before leaving Dexter uses a bottle to get the woman's finger prints and put's it into a bag.
Dexter arrives at the crime scene and gives his analysis on how the crime went down he ends up finding a cigar butt that could help them find out who did this. After planting the bag with the woman's finger prints in with all the other evidence bags that were collected Dexter heads home. He apologizes to Sonya for being late "Late doesn't quite capture it, she replies, "It's been all night." Saying, "My mother told me never to lie to someone who trust you, and never trust someone who lies to you, she adds "It's a real shame. We got off to such a good start." Dexter tells Harrison that he really misses Rita.
It's good to see Dexter back at work doing the other thing he's good at doing.

Meanwhile, Quinn is sitting in a car talking to Ray, Ray tells Quinn that he has not been granted permission to see the Mitchel family so he can show them a picture of who he believes Kyle Butler is. Ray asks Quinn to give him the photo and he will show them the picture but Quinn explains why he can't do that saying, "It's a sensitive situation." Ray tells him that he can't help him then. Quinn follows Ray to the Mitchel family safe house.
At the station, Deb explains to everyone that they may have caught a break on the Santa Muerte case do to the fact that a cigar bud with a partial thumbprint on it. Dexter soon arrives with Harrison while nearly everyone is distracted with Harrison in accept for Quinn. Dexter slips into his lab to check out the fingerprints from the young woman he is holding he also takes a bottle of pills from Masuka cabinet. He learns that woman is Lumen Ann Pierce, Harry once again appears and point's out to him that there is no one has file a missing person report on her so no one is looking for. Dexter tells him that he can't just let her die Harry replies "You can't just let her go, "This isn't some fairytale where she wakes up  and you get to be some handsome prince who saved her life. She wakes up, she calls the police."

Dexter prints out the information on Lumen just as Quinn comes into his lab and asks him what he is doing Deb shows up with Harrison. Dexter asks if she can take Harrison home saying that Sonya needed a break even not understanding why Sonya would need a break so soon she agrees to take him.
Dexter arrives back to where Lumen is being held at and apologizes for scaring her earlier, he tries giving her the pills he brought for her but she throws them down believing that Dexter is trying to drug her. Dexter proves to her that he isn't by taking the pills himself noticing how dehydrated she is he tries to give her a bottle of water but she refuses to take it. She gives Dexter a false name saying that her name is Rachel. She asks him why didn't he take her to a hospital he explains to her he couldn't because she saw him kill Boyd. She promises that she want tell anyone and begs him to let her go she's afraid that he might sell her so she attempts another escape. Dexter catches her and locks her in again.
When Dexter returns to the apartment he being searching for information online about Lumen and discovers an unpaid motel bill. Deb complains about how her apartment has become messy since Dexter and Harrison started living with her not wanting to deal with this right now Dexter takes Harrison and leaves and goes to check out the hotel. Dexter gets Lumen bag and goes through it he finds a letter from her parents and reads it he takes the bag and leaves it with Lumen. Lumen reads the letter and sobs. Back at the apartment Deb apologizes to Dexter telling him she was just cranky from a lack of sleep and that Harrison can stay as long as they want.Dexter goes over to Sonya's house to apologizes he also convinces her to work for him agin.

He opens one of the barrels and shows her what would have happen to her "This is what happen to the girl going  before you." he says, "This is what was going to happen to you." He tells her he's relying on a "leap of faith" and then hands her a knife she stabs him with it afterwords Lumen beings sobbing and Dexter takes her hand. Lumen tends to Dexter wound, she apologizes for cutting him she tells him she thought that he was like Boyd. Dexter tells her since it it over she can go back home to her family but she tells him she can't because "Boyd wasn't the only one who did this to me. There where others. It's not over." Dexter just looks at her not knowing what else he could say to her.  The episode ends.

Dexter Practically Perfect

"Dexter", basado en http://www.peque...Image via Wikipedia

The episode being with an intense interrogation to a blonde woman that Deb is giving at first it seems like it's related to the cult murder case she's working on. But as the camera pans back we see that they are in Deb's apartment with Dexter and Harrison and that the reason she's interrogating this woman is to help Dexter find the right nanny for Harrison. The other candidates include an obese woman who believes that kids need to eat lots of cheese, an old lay who will used extreme methods in a choking emergency, a frail boy who doesn't know any self-defense but will scream like a little girl if necessary, and Sonya a middle age Irish woman that Harrison takes a liking to. After seeing how good she is with Harrison Dexter decides that she is the right one for the job even though Deb isn't really sure.

In crisis counseling Dexter voices his concerns to the therapist about whether Harrison will be emotionally scared from witnessing his mother's murder. The therapist tries to reassure Dexter that because his son is 10 months old there's know way he comprehend what he saw. Dexter protests and explains to her that when he was 3 he saw something that affected him but the therapist  reassures him once again that Harrison will be find. She tells him that he needs to go something for himself .

Even though Dexter still isn't sure that Harrison want be affected by what he saw he decides to take the therapist advice and do something for himself. So, Dexter puts his plan of bumping into Boyd at a coffee shop into action it takes Boyd a while to spot him and when he does Dexter invites him to join him. Pretending like he's been searching for a job Dexter tells Boyd that he's willing to do any kind of job, Boyd ends up taking the bait an invites Dexter to tag along on his road kill pick ups to see if it is something he would want to do. Afterwards he goes searching for a place to serve as a kill room Dexter settles on deserted tourist center Harry shows up and tells him "not to make this kill mean more than it should". This kind of foreshadows that something will go wrong.

Still working on the cult-murder case Deb and another detective go question the victim's boyfriend who is later found dead in his home whose brain were blown out. Deb, Angel, and Quinn try to get people in  the Venezuelan neighborhood to talk but no wants to out of fear that they get killed. A cop from the neighborhood lends them a hand Deb and the cop visit a religious relic store to question a man who could help them with the case. The man doesn't feel comfortable saying anything in front of Deb when the cop returns by herself he gives her information, later Deb and the cop return to the store were they find the man's head cut off and candles surrounding it. This case definitely seems cult related.

Quinn still looking at the sketch of Kyle Butler who he thinks is Dexter he calls a friend from the FBI and tells him that he might have a lead on who Kyle Butler is.Quinn informs the fed that he has a picture that he wants to show the Mitchell family the fed tells Quinn to send him the picture and that he will show it to them. But Quinn refuses to send him the picture telling him that it is sensitive and that he could be wrong, the fed plans on seeing if it's possible for Quinn to them.

Meanwhile, Dexter and Boyd arrive at the tourist center not soon after getting there Dexter comes up behind Boyd and injects him with the syringe, just as Boyd is about to hit the ground he shots Dexter with a tranquilizer gun. Dexter ends up on the ground too. Dexter wakes to find himself in an ambulance the EMT informs a groggy Dexter that he was found unconscious when Dexter turns to his side he see Boyd lying next to him. The EMT asks the two what exactly happen out there they both pretend like it was an accident. After arriving at the hospital and waiting for the doctors to leave Boyd steals a pair of scissors to kill Dexter when he pulls back the curtain that Dexter is behind he finds that Dexter has already left.

Boyd returns home, hearing a noise he grabs his gun and goes searching for what it is but is trick by Dexter who once again injects him with the syringe. Making a call to Sonya to see how Harrison is doing Dexter learns that his son is walking for the first time, Sonya send him the picture that she took of Harrison walking Dexter quickly takes a look at it and says to himself, "My son is walking , like a normal boy."

When Boyd comes to he is surround by an improvise  newspaper cover room he and Dexter talked right before Dexter stabs him which doesn't fill up the emptiness he fells. Dexter hears a noise coming from the attic he opens the door to find a scared and battered woman (Julia Stiles).  Dexter says to himself, "She saw everything, she saw me."

Holy crap...

Crazy Theory 2 Sam's Odd Behavior

Sam's odd behavior has many wondering is it really Sam?

It's very understandable why many would question if it is really Sam and not something pretending to be him ever since the season began Sam has been acting cold and distant.  But it's not just his coldness or the fact that he is distant that has some questioning is that really Sam. In the latest episode of Supernatural "The Third Man" Sam payed for sex which had many doing a double take to make sure that what they saw wasn't something that they were imaging. After many seasons of watching Supernatural we all know that Sam "doesn't pay" so to see Sam doing just that threw us all for a loop.

Sam didn't even objected to Cas causing a kid physical pain to get information on who had taken God's weapons. In a situation like this Sam would have objected and ask Cas to find another way that wouldn't cause the kid pain but not this new Sam.

One could conclude that from the looks of the first three episodes that Sam acting odd is Sam not actually being Sam or him not being all there. However, I believe that he is emotionally damage and detach that he would rather bury his emotions so deep inside that he doesn't have to deal with what happen. Which is why I think that Sam paying for sex is a way for him to stay connected to another person but also allow himself to stay distant at the same time. Sam not objecting to how Cas got the information from the kid could be another example of how Sam has detach himself from his emotions. Whatever happen down there in the cage has clearly cause Sam to shut down from his emotions that in some ways seems questionable. As much as Sam would like to keep what happen buried inside he's going to have to acknowledge and face up to it eventually.

Here's a few questions I have:
What happen to him and Adam in the cage?

Is the reason for Sam shutting off his emotions have anything to do with what happen to Adam?

Where is Adam is he still in there with Michael and Lucifer?

I know I for one can't wait to see and hear what happen in Lucifer's cage and to see why it is Sam would rather shut down then to feel anything.

Dexter Episode 2 Hello Bandit

Dexter iPhone wallpaperImage by xploitme via Flickr
" It is said there are seven stages of grief. I supposed killing someone with my bare hands in the men's room is my way of working through the anger. Whatever the other six are, I don't have time for them, because now I'm a full-time dad. Once the kids and I are back together it will be fine."
However, Dexter quickly learns how wrong he is when he's reunited with Astor and Cody and Astor complains about their new living arrangements at Deb's apartment. He tries to explain to her that them living at Deb's is temporary in til he can find all of them a apartment to live in so that they can all start fresh. Astor still doesn't like it.

The Feds question Dexter in the interview room about his night trips in his boat feeling uneasy but reasonable Dexter explains to them that the reason he goes out on his boat is to relax. He tell them if they take a look at the marina photographs that will see his coming and going from time to time. Noticing that he is starting to become a little defensive they soon tell him that they know he didn't kill Rita because at the time of her murder he was at Arthur Mitchel's house with the police. That they are just trying to figure out why the Trinity Killer would target his wife Rita.
Now that his name is cleared Dexter wants to move on with his life and return to work but Laguerta insist that he take more time off to spend with his family. Not arguing with her Dexter goes to rent a moving van because he doesn't want the kids returning to the house where Rita was killed. As he looks through the moving vans one of the moving vans piques his curiosity when he notices blood in it which he decides to rent.
Even though he is trying hard to focus on the kids his mind can't stop thinking about the blood in the moving van. He search's for the last person to rented it and finds Boyd Fowler, Boyd Fowler works for the sanitation department, specializing in dead animal pick ups. Dexter wonders if the blood in the van is animal blood or human? But according to his analysis it's not animal blood but human.

Meanwhile, an investigation is started by Batista and Quinn of a woman who was decapitated and had her eyes and tongue cut out. Quinn thinks that it could be drug related until the suggestion by another detective that it could work of Santa Muerte cult because there are symbolism that resemble the cult.
Seeing how over crowded her apartment is right now Debra ending up on Quinn's doorstep, Quinn offers her a place to stay.

Debra calls Dexter when she goes to pick them up and learns that they skipped school; knowing exactly where their at Dexter heads home to find them in the bathroom that Rita was killed in."Dexter don't be mad says, Cody." But Dexter isn't mad at them. Astor tells him how she feels and that she wants to live with her grandparents Cody on other hand doesn't want to, Dexter not wanting to split them up convinces Cody to go with Astor. Dexter lets them know that he wants them to stay Astor gives Dexter a quick hug and Cody and her leave with their grandparents.

Returning to his investigation Dexter follows Boyd Fowler  around, sees him dumping a barrel into a lake. After Boyd leave Dexter goes into the lake he to open the barrel and discovers the body of a dead woman inside it, taking a look around the water Dexter sees that there are other barrels in the lake.
Dexter might have just found his next target.

Dexter Season 5 Premiere

Let's Give the Boy a HandImage via Wikipedia
Season 5 pick up right where it off at the end of season 4 with Dexter discovering his son Harrison in a pool of his wife Rita's blood. A shock Dexter is outside on the front lawn holding his crying son as police arrive at his house not soon after Dexter's sister Debra arrives on the scene. Debra goes to Dexter after telling two police officers to back off of her brother as she tries to get answers from an in shock Dexter, Dexter hands over Harrison to her and tells them that "Rita's inside" and also says "It was me" which later on he doesn't remember saying.
Inside the house Mauska and Quinn take a look at the murder scene and Mauska believes that this was done by the Trinity Killer; even though this doesn't fit the Trinity Killers usual pattern because he has never killed a married woman before in her house. Quinn on the other hand doesn't think it is the Trinity Killer. LaGuerta and Angel finally arrive at the murder scene and LaGuerta inform them that the FBI will be handling the investigation of Rita's murder none of them likes the fact that the FBI is handling the investigation. Quinn become suspicious about whether Dexter killed Rita when he sees the next door neighbor taking her death a lot harder than Deter.

The next day, at the police station everyone's listening to the 911 call that Dexter made the night before in which Dexter gives the operator information on the incisions on his wife's body. But only Quinn finds the 911 call to be disturbing and voices it by saying "His wife just died, he's submitting a lab report." Mauska feeling guilty for what he told Dexter accidentally lets it slip to Quinn that he saw Rita and the neighbor kissing at Thanksgiving; which leads Quinn to talk to the neighbor who makes it clear that what happen at Thanksgiving only happen once and that Dexter punch him because of it. He decides to take what he has learn to LaGuerta who makes it clear to him that the FBI is handling the investigation and to leave it alone. Quinn tries to make the argument that if they didn't know Dexter he being the husband would be the prime suspect.
Remaining supportive of her brother even though she's still puzzled by his confession on the front lawn the night before, she tries to help him with Harrison and the funeral arrangement for Rita. Cody, Astor and their grandparents arrive at the apartment were Dexter tells them that Rita is dead both kids take it hard but Astor is the one whole ends up getting mad at him and storming out. When he follows her Astor screams at him saying, "We all would have been better off  if she'd never met you" Cody and Astor end up leaving with their grandparent for the night.

Reeling from his guilty and what Astor said to him Dexter decides to leave the kids with Debra and leave town forever. Before taking off he goes to the funeral home to see Rita one last time there he tells her "I was never really honest with you. I'm a serial killer, that's what I am. I led you to believe I'm a human being, but I'm not. That's a lie". With one last gesture he touches her hand and leaves.

Still believing that this is what's best for everyone Dexter heads out on his boat to the open sea but his subconscious gets the better of him and he returns for the funeral. He gives a heart felt eulogy with the words "She died a brutal death, and I can't fix it. But, I know I have to try, here in Miami  with the people who knew her ... and who care about her ...who loved her. Like I did he voices to himself.

A great send off to a the character/actress Rita(Julie Benz) who played her so well.

Crazy Theory

Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester (left) and Ja...Image via WikipediaOkay, so I was thinking about the scene in "Exile on Main Street"  Episode 6.01, where Sam is trying to prove to Dean that he's not a demon, it kind of felt to me like Sam has gone through this before with him. The whole cutting his arm with the knife and pouring the salt into the water and drinking it to show Dean that there's no demon possessing him. Which lead me to think about the episode  "Mystery Spot" the episode where Sam tells Dean over and over again how their stuck in a time loop, how after the 100th time Sam was tired and frustrated; which in a way could be why Sam comes off as cold and harsh in Exile in Main Street.
Here is where my crazy theory factors in "WHAT IF" Sam has told Dean that he's alive but Dean doesn't remember it because 1)there in a time loop or 2) someone or something keeps erasing Dean's memory from him, so whenever he sees Sam it's like it's the first time. Which is very unfortunate for Sam who has to keep trying to get Dean to remember that he has already come to him and told him that he is alive. I mean the theme of this season is "NOTHING IS AS IT SEEMS" so "WHAT IF" this crazy theory of mines is kind of right or maybe just maybe I'm reading way to much into that scene. But a lot of things where off like the fact that Dean didn't yell or even try to make an attempt to hit Sam for keeping the fact that he's been alive from him for a year, and that hug was way off it was nothing like the Sam and Dean hugs we've seen over the seasons. Like I said maybe I'm reading to much into that scene or maybe I'm right. But just in case I am let me post this for all other fans to judge. What if we are dealing with a real Trickster this time?
If you have in theories about this post or about any thing feel free to add on.
